diesmal dürfte das heft für alle gruppen interessant sein.den es ist ein grosses österreich spezial drin wo so ziemlich alle relevanten aktiven gruppen/vereine (glaube 28 sind es...) hierzulande präsentiert werden....

naja fast, weil alle waren halt doch nicht zur mitarbeit zu bewegen...

und dann noch eine premiere:-) die RAG (GRAZER AK) gibt ein kleines exklusiv interview,allerdings war das vorm Hartberg Match) !

- THE HISTORY OF MILLWALL HOOLIGANS

“(...) The main problem for hooligans from the Den was their lack of organization, modeled best by their sworn enemies from West Ham and Man Utd. At Millwall, mobs from particular districts didn’t cooperate with each other, they didn’t have one, strong firm, as their rivals had. Millwall were always known for their unpredictability. One week, at a very important away game, they may only have brought a dozen people, and two weeks later, they took 200-300 lads with an average age 30 for a meaningless fixture. Even the famous Millwall firms, Bushwackers, Treatment and F-Troop, weren’t too numerous, and certainly they lacked unity. (...)”

ULTRA GROUPS IN ATHENS

Athens – the capital and largest city of Greece. Everyone knows the most popular football mobs from this city: Panathinaikos, Olympiakos and AEK. Many people have also heard about Panionios, the insiders would add Atromitos. However, in this vast agglomeration (inhabited by more than 4.5 million people!), there are many other clubs, several of which have organized ultras groups! We invite you to read a brief review concerning the situation on the Athenian terraces, both at the largest and at the minor stadiums (even in Athens, many people in the know haven’t heard about some of these local firms!).

We are talking with TaliJan, an Union Berlin fan and a publisher of fanzines “Der Grenzganger” and “Pasion Latina”. The last few years of his life he aspent mainly on travelling through the stadiums of South America. He has already visited almost every country there, but his main target was Argentina. In this interview, you will find many interesting informations about the Argentinean fan scene.

KOHORTA OSIJEK

“(...)Croatia's problem is that 90% of the people support either Dinamo or Hajduk. For the last ten years we have made efforts to popularize the 'support your local team' mentality and we got some results in Osijek. However, without good results on the pitch, it’s hard to get the interest of other people from the region. And as I said, the last decade wasn’t a successful time for our club.

When it comes to the Serbs – the eastern part of Croatia, which was occupied by them after the civil war, it was peacefully reintegrated into Croatia. In spite of that, many Serbs stayed and live there (...)”

CRVENI DJAVOLI KRAGUJEVAC

Our guest is Strahinja, a member of "Crveni Djavoli” (The Red Devils), a group that supports Radnicki Kragujevac football club. Last year, after 12 years of wandering in the lower leagues, Radnicki returned to Serbia's top division. Also, as of recent, the ultras from Kragujavec have been doing quite a good job.

ROTE ARMEE GRAZ 1999 – GRAZER AK

In addition to a description of the Austrian ultra scene in general, we would also like to introduce one of the top hooligan firms in the country - “Rote Armee Graz 1999” (RAG).

They have spent the recent years in the lower leagues, so not much was heard about them, but 5 years ago, during the derby game with Sturm Graz, everyone could see the strength of this group. They are well organized, have many older geezers among them and take the fight even when the opponents clearly outnumber them. They proved it at the AK Graz-Sturm Graz match, as well as in a clash with Salzburg, when 15 of them opposed 60 rivals....

Wars at Poland games 1995 - 2004

“(...) The first game, attended by a number of Poles, was a clash with the Netherlands in 1992 in Rotterdam. After this trip, it was clear that there would not be any unity among the hooligans at national team games. The following year brought an escalation of conflicts. The culminating point being an infamous game between Poland and England in Chorzów (vividly reported by the English fans). They were impressed, some even shocked, by the scale of violence that day. Polish hooligans attacked away fans, chased the Police away from the stadium and finally, fought each other. That was the day when a lad from Szczecin was stabbed to death on a tram by Cracovia Cracow hooligans – this tragedy had a huge impact on the negative attitude associated with Cracovia firms (...)”
