Geht über 11min so richtig ab, zwei riesige Kurven, nein die beiden Stadionhälften (!) sorgen für unglaubliche Stimmung.

besonders der schlussteil ab ca. 09:02 gefällt mir, 10:39...wow

6. Spieltag, Olimpia (weiss) gewinnt auswärts mit 2:1 vor etwa 26'000 zuschauern und steht mit 6 siegen an der tabellenspitze der apertura.

Club Olimpia Asunción gegen Cerro Porteno ist der superclassico schlechthin in paraguay (olimpia ist der älteste & erfolgreichste club in paraguay, konnte als einzer schon die copa holen).

Cerro Porteno ist dagegen wohl beliebter in Paraguay und der zweiterfolgreichste.

For tomorrow's Copa Libertadores encounter against Independiente, Peñarol will premiere a new 15,000 square metre banner said to be the world's biggest...

Fans of Uruguayan giants Peñarol are set to mark tomorrow's Copa Libertadores decider against Independiente in style, as they plan to unfurl a giant banner claimed to be the biggest in world football.

The Carboneros are already assured of qualification for the last 16 as Group 8 enters its final round of matches, while Independiente need a win by seven goals or more in Montevideo to stand even a chance to making the next stage; for which reason coach Antonion Mohamed will play reserve players in the Estadio Centenario.

EFE reports that the 60,000 capacity Centenario is already sold out for the celebration, and that supporters will mark the occasion with a banner that will be the biggest ever seen in a football stadium. The banderazo is reported to weigh almost two tonnes and cover 15,000m2, which would mean it covers in their entirety two of the stadium's four stands.

Directors of the clubs have also decided to gift 60,000 bands to supporters with the legend "I inaugurated the world's biggest banner". The previous record-holder is claimed to be the banner unveiled by Independiente's rivals Racing Club in 2010, which with claimed dimensions of 250m x 30m will be comfortably smaller than the Uruguayan's proposed effort.
