Wieder was von Football Italia zum Thema Sagnol-Juve:

Bayern Munich’s general manager Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admits the German champions may be unable to stop Willy Sagnol joining Juventus next summer.

The France defender is out of contract at the end of the season and has made it clear that he will be ready for a new challenge after six years in Bavaria.

With Juventus emerging as frontrunners for Sagnol’s signature, Rummenigge is facing up to the prospect of losing the experienced right-back.

"We will do everything possible to sway the balance in our favour, but Juventus are a very serious and powerful competitor," Rummenigge said. "Willy’s own desire will prove very important."

Sagnol, who has also been strongly linked with Manchester United and Valencia, is thought to be keen on a move to the Stadio Delle Alpi, where he would join up with four international teammates - Lilian Thuram, Jonathan Zebina, Patrick Vieira and David Trezeguet.

The arrival of the former Monaco ace would cast fresh doubt over the future of Zebina, however.

The former Roma player has been the first-choice right-back this season, but may find himself out of favour when he returns from injury, having angered the club by demanding a pay rise.

According to whispers, the Italian champions are ready to offer Sagnol a hefty pay packet of £6m over four seasons.

Meanwhile, Juventus director general Luciano Moggi insists that there will not be any new signings during the January transfer window.

"When January comes we won’t be signing anyone because we’re okay as we are right now," said Moggi.

Nevertheless, Moggi is expected to be busy in the summer with Inter’s Cristiano Zanetti on his way to Turin.

Zanetti, who like Sagnol would also command no transfer fee, seems to have been swayed by the interest shown in him by the Italian champions after growing frustrated by Inter’s reluctance to make him a new offer.

The midfielder, who is also a Fiorentina target, is highly thought of by Coach Fabio Capello, who won the Scudetto with the 28-year-old at Roma four years ago and would be considered back-up to Emerson and Patrick Vieira.

Wär ein Wahnsinn, wenn er zu uns kommen würde. Beim Gedanken an diese Verteidigungsreihe krieg ich eine Gänsehaut.

Wie auch immer, laut einigen Foren soll Juve die wahrscheinlichste neue Destination von Sagnol sein, vor allem Dank seiner Landsleute bei den bianconeri.

Leider scheint das auch Leute wie Pires anzuziehen, der sich in den letzten Monaten immer wieder förmlich angebietert hat...

Benfica ponder Toldo swoop

Francesco Toldo seems increasingly likely to leave Inter this season, with Benfica his most likely destination in the New Year.

Toldo, who has been second choice to Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar this term, has only played once so far and is frustrated by the lack of first-team opportunities at the San Siro.

Palermo have also been strongly linked to the former Fiorentina ‘keeper, who is now 33, but it appears that Benfica are front runners to sign the Italian.

Should the Portuguese outfit qualify for the next round of the Champions League, they would prove a very hard team to resist for a player who is still eligible to play in the tournament having failed to appear in Europe for Inter.

Benfica, who also have Italian striker Fabrizio Miccoli in their squad, are currently bottom of Group D but only two points adrift of leaders Villarreal.

Vidic...da war doch mal was. War vor etwa 5 Jahren bei Parma im Gespräch als man noch zu den Sette Sorelle gehörte, ist aber damals nichts draus geworden. Wär interessant zu wissen wie sich der entwickelt hat.

An Marchionni sind auch Fiorentina und Sampdoria dran, doch mMn wird Lorenzo Sanz alles tun um ihn bei uns zu halten. Wenn nicht hoffe ich dass er zu Samp wechselt.

Außerdem bin ich neugierig was mit Guardalben geschieht, eine Rückkehr zu Parma könnte ich mir durchaus vorstellen, Matteo hat noch immer ein Haus in Parma.

Ein Wechsel für Ihn würde meiner Meinung nach noch um ein paar Jahre zu früh kommen.

Obwohl es noch sehr lange hin ist und nach der WM vermutlich eh wieder alles umgedreht wird, glaube ich auch schon langsam daran, das uns Sagnol im Sommer verstärkern wird.

Sagnol könnte wirklich zu jeden Verein gehen, sollte er sich für Juventus entscheiden, bin ich der Meinung das er sich hauptsächlich wegen der Frankreich Connection für Juventus entschieden hat.

Emerson und Nedved verkaufen, dafür einen Govou und einen Pedretti holen und man könnte nur mit Italienern und Franzosen spielen, wäre ein tolles Team:

Del Piero - Trezeguet - Govou

Pedretti - Vieira - Camoranesi

Zambrotta - Cannavaro - Thuram - Sagnol

Buffon
