Tormann: Die Kanditaten sind Abbiati (Juve) und Toldo (Inter).

Flügelspieler: Kanditat Nr. 1 Semioli (Chievo).

Zentraler Mittelfeldspieler: Die Kanditaten sind Simplico (Parma) und Perrotta (Roma).

Toldo/Abbiati (Andujar/Guardalben)

Zaccardo (Ferri) - Barzagli (Biava) - Terlizzi (Rinaudo) - Grosso (Conteh)

Semioli (Gonzalez) - Corini (Perrotta) - Barone (Simplico) - Santana (Bonnani)

Makinwa (Brienza) - Caracciolo (Pepe)

Dann wären noch: Accardi, Codrea, Masiello und Mutarelli.

nach den gerüchten (wechsel nach holland aus familiären gründen) und eingen widersprüchigen meldungen hat jaap stam nun eine konkrete stellungnahme zu seiner zukunft abgegeben.

EINDHOVEN: Speaking to the Dutch press, Jaap Stam said: 'I am fine at Milan. I have a contract that runs for another two years. I intend to respect it. I'll stay at Milan and I have nothing more to add.'

Jaap Stam has dampened speculation suggesting that he could quit Milan at the end of the season.

It had been suggested by his agent that the Dutchman would quit the Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the campaign.

It was claimed that Stam was keen to see his playing career out in Holland as he looked to dedicate more time to his family, yet Stam says he intends to see out his existing contract with Milan.

"I feel good at Milan," he declared. "I have a contract that binds me to the Rossoneri for another two years and I intend to respect that.

"I'm staying at Milan and I have nothing more to add to that."
