Quali darf er auf jeden Fall nicht spielen, Playoff bin ich mir nicht sicher, glaube aber dort schon, weil das technisch gesehen schon zum Hauptbewerb gehört.

Und zwar deshalb nicht, weil er diese Saison schon für Dinamo Tiflis EL-Quali gespielt hat. Ist dabei übrigens gegen den Klub von Hyballa ausgeschieden.

Stimmt, daran habe ich gar nicht gedacht. Nächste Woche ginge es schon in der EL-Quali weiter. Wenn er nur in der 3. Runde nicht spielen darf glaube ich das es gut möglich ist, dass man keinen zusätzlichen Spieler holt und auf den Kader vertraut. Sollte er auch im Play-Off nicht spielen dürfen, könnte ich mir Kiteishvili + Mr. X vorstellen. Ideal wäre natürlich, das der Georgier kommt und Peter noch bis zum Play-Off bleibt.

My German is not good yet, but if the signing of Kiteishvili will be confirmed, I must congratulate you on a really exciting player. I am from Sweden, support Malmö, but have followed Georgian football (Erovnuli Liga) for over 8 years and the youth development there. It is a strange "interest" I have, but it also means that when a club buys a player from this league, I know almost instantly if suits well or not. Kiteishvili is together with Giorgi Chakvetadze (Gent) and Giorgi Kharaishvili (IFK Göteborg) the most talented footballer in the country. In general, Georgian football is very healthy at the moment when it comes to football talents, as they have a nice generation in U17 & U21 and also Seniors. I am really happy that he is due to join Sturm Graz, a perfect step in the career, not too big.. not to small, just perfect step in Austria.

Kiteishvili is really a point-scorer, both assists and goals, but primarily very clever and quick when accelerating. 22 years old, but he is used to carry pressure, having been a captain for almost his entire time in Tbilisi. He is small, but difficult to take the ball from, because he uses the body well to protect it, with small quick turns. Nice play intelligence, quick brain/decisions, and also good at taking corners/free kicks. I think you have made a fantastic signing, and to be honest I was hoping to see him in Sweden instead but will follow his progress in Graz.

Das ist halt ein Mythos wennst dir anschaust wie viel Tore wir letzte Saison aus Ecken geschossen haben.

Football quality wise, first touch, passing and technique is on high level. His low level is strength and jumping (can be difficult when defending set pieces). Another interesting aspect which I think Graz need to help him a bit, is how to integrate into life in Austria, to settle in. Life in Georgia is very different, I have been there many times. Austria is heaven in comparison, but things like friendship, language and belong to a group, without family, can be a bit tricky. Kiteishvili is quite social person, so I think he will integrate well. Graz is a nice city, and I am sure your supporters will like him once he has a few trainings/minutes in matches.

I remember him as a junior player, playing in European matches with Tiflis and he was exceptional against Alashkert, Dinamo Zagreb and PAOK. This is the moment when I was thinking "he will be the next big player in Georgia".

Unsere Ecken sind eine Katastrophe, wir haben paar Kopfballstarke Spieler, aber unsere Ecken gehen immer irgendwo hin oder werden kurz abgespielt und dann passiert nix.
