Depor confirm Naybet deal

Deportivo La Coruna have confirmed they have agreed a deal to sell Nourredine Naybet to Tottenham.

The Galician outfit revealed a fee of €1 million (£600,000) had been concurred upon for the 34-year-old Moroccan international.

Naybet is now scheduled to travel to London on Wednesday for a routine medical before completing the formalities of the transfer.

The rugged stopper will put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal at White Hart Lane and will end an eight-year association with Depor.

Naybet signed for the Spanish outfit from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 1996 and has proved to be superb servant during his time at the Riazor.
